STUDENT GRANTS

FEMS Young Scientist Meeting Grant

These grants will be available to help Young Scientists from FEMS member countries to attend the PYFF3 symposium and to present their research work either as a poster or oral presentation.

Grants can be applied by Young Scientists that (1) have submitted an abstract, (2) have sent in their registration form, (3) have not reached the age of 36 years at the time of the congress, and (4) who are members of a FEMS microbiological society or recommended by a member of a FEMS society.

The deadline for Young Scientist Meeting grant is 10th of April 2007. Your Grant application form with the annexes should be sent by email together with your abstract to the meeting secretariat anita.tienhaara@helsinki.fi.

or from the FEMS homepage. The outcome of the application will be communicated to the applicants by April 20, 2007. The applications will be judged primarily on the quality of the submitted abstract.
